SOPHOS

From December 2017 to the end of 2018, and again in 2021, I had the privilege of collaborating with Sophos Library and Saqarik Editorial. These experiences were truly defining for me, as Sophos is the leading bookseller in Guatemala, and Saqarik Editorial has published many illustrated children’s books that I deeply admire.

During my time working with them, I had the opportunity to fall completely in love with editorial work. I was involved in the development of two books: Tierra de Juana (Juana’s Land), an illustrated children's book, and El Misterio de San Andrés (The Mystery of San Andrés), a novel.

As a graphic designer and illustrator, I also contributed to the development of the social media identity for the brand, as well as the visual identity for the Kids’ department of the library. This included creating illustrations and characters applied to bags and gift wrap.
