Acha La Cucaracha
In 2016, I had the honor of collaborating with Editorial Santillana, a group of publishing houses dedicated to educational books, with a presence in the UK, USA, Spain, and 18 countries in Latin America. This collaboration was part of their "Lo Que Leo" project, which is focused on children, I illustrated 2 books, “Acha La Cucaracha” (Acha the cucaroch) and “El Monstruo de los enredos” (Tangled Monster).

Niñas Furia
In 2024, the women’s artist collective Niñas Furia published a book featuring the stories of different female illustrators from Guatemala, aimed at inspiring girls and other women starting creative careers in the country. I had the honor of being featured in the book. I believe publications like this are important as they reflect our society, reminding us of how things are changing, and how a small industry like illustration is growing in Guatemala.
At the same time the book was published the collective painted a mural to conmemorate the book, in the collaboration of the “Spanish association” in Guatemala.
This collective has been like a breath of fresh air for me, sometimes when I felt my career didn’t had future, the sorority and support from other women artist gave me hope that we could build a creative industry in Guatemala.
