Niñas Furia

I started collaborating with the women collective “Niñas Furia” (Fury girls) in 2016 for a local art exhibition with my art piece “cefalea” but after that event I stayed involve with the collective until now days.

A collective born out of the need to work together, with a commitment to building networks and communities. The goal is to help raise the visibility of women’s work and to share artistic techniques and experiences throughout the year through various activities such as workshops or live exhibitions.

In 2018, thanks to the support of the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala and AJEDE, the Niñas Furia 2018 Workshop Tour began in Guatemala City and traveled to Huehuetenango, Quetzaltenango, and Sololá.

In 2018, I had the honor of sharing my professional experience with people who were looking to start their careers in art. Seeking alternative ways of communication, we held a character design workshop using modeling clay.

In 2023, I was invited to collaborate with AJEDEGT and Casa Guardabaranco, alongside the collective, to offer an "Introduction to Visual Representation" workshop for children from a  local school, using modeling clay.

Limonada Bandida

This was a collective of Guatemalan women illustrators that I was a part of from 2016 to 2019. During this time, we released two illustrated calendars and hosted workshops and lectures to promote the illustration work of young women in Guatemala.

In 2018 we were invited for “Rafael Landivar University” to give conference for their design students.

In 2019, we were part of the “Festival del Centro Histórico,” where the local mayor’s office celebrates the history of Guatemala City. We had the opportunity to create a mural to promote sorority.
